Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information YOriginal Games ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use our website https://yoriginal.games (the "Site") and our partner portal at https://crm.yoriginal.games (the "Portal"), how we use it, who processes it for us and what choices you have.
Information we collect
When you send us a form on the Site (contact, studio, operator or affiliate forms), we receive what you type in: your name, company, email address or other contact details, and your message. We also record the page you sent it from, the Site language, campaign tags in the link you arrived with (such as utm_source), the time, and your IP address. We use the IP address to stop spam, for example by limiting how many messages one address can send per hour.
When you use the Portal (partner accounts only), we keep your name, email address, company and role, when you last logged in, and the files, tickets, comments and other content you add. We log important actions, such as file downloads and changes to records, to keep the Portal secure and to resolve questions later.
When you browse the Site, our hosting provider handles technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type to deliver the pages and protect the Site from abuse. Only if you click "Yes, fine" in our cookie banner do we load Google Analytics, with IP anonymisation switched on, to understand how the Site is used. If you click "No, thanks", Google Analytics is not loaded.
Your browser also stores a few small settings on your device: your cookie choice and your answer to the age check. They never leave your device.
How we use your information
- To reply to your message and discuss a possible partnership with you.
- To run your Portal account: logins, password emails, notifications about your tickets, invoices, promos and games.
- To keep the Site and the Portal secure and free of spam.
- With your consent, to measure Site traffic and improve our content.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who processes it for us
We use trusted service providers who process information only on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Back4App (United States): the database behind the Site forms and the Portal.
- Cloudflare (global network): hosting of the Site and the Portal, images, videos and files uploaded to the Portal, and protection against abuse.
- Mailjet (European Union): sending emails from the Site and the Portal.
- Google: Google Analytics, only after your consent, and Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces of the Site.
Some of these providers store or process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages for as long as we are in contact with you about a possible or ongoing partnership, and Portal data for as long as your company works with us. After that, we delete or anonymise information we no longer need, unless we must keep it longer by law, for example invoices.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To withdraw consent for analytics, clear the Site's data in your browser and choose "No, thanks" in the cookie banner. To use any of these rights, write to us at the address below. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Links to other websites
The Site links to websites of our partners, such as aggregators, operators and studios. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle personal information. Please read their own privacy policies.
Children
The Site and the Portal are intended for business users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post every change on this page with a new date.
